WORK IN PROGRESS
CONSPIRACY: THE TRUE STORY OF THE FORT DIX FIVE
In her latest work CONSPIRACY, author Huma Yasin employs the style of a political thriller to recreate a sixteen-month FBI sting in which two men – hired by the government in exchange for clemency for prior criminal behavior and legal immigration status – ingratiate themselves into a group of Muslim friends. Their “investigation” culminates in the arrest and subsequent trial of five Muslim men, three of whom are brothers, for conspiracy to murder military personnel at the Fort Dix Five base in New Jersey.
